    1880: Overprinted 'UPU / Plata / Peru' in oval, covers (6 and a front), all bearing this short-lived issue, with single rate front to Halifax (GB) with '8d.' charge mark, single rate covers to Hamburg and Paris at 12 c., rare February 1880 double rate cover to USA at 24 c. rate and a December 1880 cover to Hamburg at double rate, a few imperfections but some fine covers noted.
