    1865/73: Great Britain 4 d. vermilion pl. 11, used example on 1869 cover to New York tied by C56 obliterator of Cartagena, with 'Colon' British P.O. treansit at left (Aug 3) and 'N.Y. Steamship / 10' arrival also on front (Aug 21). Reverse with British P.O. 'Carathagena' double arc cds of despatch (July 31). Minor splitting on folds but a scarce cover. Opinion Holcombe (1989).
