    1851/52: Covers (3) with May 1853 double rate entire to Paris franked by 9 cr. violet-brown on blue paper, two examples: one cancelled by barred obliterator and, when letter found to be double weight another 9 cr. applied and tied by 'P.D. / Firenze' cds; Sept 1857 entire from Livorno to Liestal near Basel franked by 1857 4 cr. green and 6 cr. deep blue tied by P.D. handstamps in black and 1858 cover bearing single 9 cr. violet-brown used from Livorno to Enge, Zurich. Few imperfections but an attractive group.
