    1861: Combination cover from  Cairo to Florence, Italy struck on flap with Type IV POSTA EUROPEA / CAIRO datestamp (June 10) in black, transferred to French P.O. in Alexandria and franked by 1853 80 c. carmine imperf., large margins, lightly tied in black with 'Alexandrie / Egypte' cds alongside (June 11). Reverse with Livorno cds in blue (June 20) and Firenze arrival. A fine and scarce usage. Illustrated in Smith on page 24.
