Overland Mail' with prepaid charge 12s. 8½d. in manuscript, struck with CARE OF MR. WAGHORN / ALEXANDRIA handstamp (Sidebottom / Smith type 4) in black. Red circular 'Angleterre Par Calais' on front and reverse with London despatch cds in black. Disinfected by vinegar splash in transit, a magnificent and scarce entire.
