    1909/55: New Zealand 1 d. rose-carmine cancelled by "BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPD. NZ FE 27 08" in green on official cover of Shakleton's "Nimrod" Expedition 1907/09 together with "Kind Edward VII Land" overprint on 1 d. rose-carmine cancelled "BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPD. NZ MR 4 09" in black and two copies with VICTORIA LAND overprint on 1 d. carmine issued for Scott's Terra Nova Expedition, both tied by "BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPD. NZ 9 FE 11" with further 1954 Australia 3 1/2 d. cancelled by "MAWSON A.N.R.E. AUST. ANTARCTIC TERR 16 FE 55" (Mawson Station established 1954) and addressed to Christchurch NZ. Envelope vertically folded away from stamps. An outstanding cover documenting three diff. expeditions. Lot  241 of Mohrmann Sale 112 in Hamburg (Nov. 1962), the Burrus Sale, mounted on original album page with opinion Edgar Mohrmann (Jan. 1963) included.
