    Type 2. 1873: Cover from Bombay to Antwerp, Belgium via Brindisi, franked by 1865 8 p. purple on white (2), 1 a. brown pair, 1866 4 a. green and 1868 8 a. rose pair tied by oval 'Behrend Brothers / Bombay' cachets. The cover probably handed in to the Ship, with 4 annas applied as Late Fee, with adhesives all cancelled by scarce 9 barred obliterator in black, unframed PD below. Reverse with 'Apollo Pier / Bombay' cds and fine oval SEA POST OFFICE / F datestamp (Sept 5) in black - a late usage of this datestamp. Carried on the 'Golconda' arriving Suez September 23, with Anvers arrival cds (Sept 30). A fine and scarce cover, illustrated in the handbook on page 143.
