    Mauritius 1852 (Oct 12): Entire letter from Sydney to Port Louis, Mauritius endorsed 'per Gipsy Queen', franked by NSW 1851/52 1 d. scarlet on blued paper, three examples used to pay the outgoing Ship Letter fee, (the central stamp showing plate variety 'No Leaves to Right of South' in top panel (Gi 46a = £ 325), cancelled by barred oval dumb obliterators and, on arrival, by Crown MAURITIUS / GPO datestamp (Dec 12) in black. Reverse with Crown SHIP LETTER / SYDNEY despatch in black. A wonderfully fresh and very attractive entire of the greatest scarcity. Cert. BPA (2004).
