    1864: Imperial Arms 5 so. rose perf. 9½ in mixed franking with 1867 Franz Joseph 10 so. blue, both fresh and fine, tied by neat "CONSTANTINOPEL 6 / 7" cds's (Tchilinghirian & Stephen fig. 386) to outer letter sheet, endorsed "Via Varna", sent to Gera Saxonia, with Vienna transit and Gera arrival (11 / 7 /1869) cds's on reverse. Rare mixed franking to pay the Oktober 1866 unified Levant rate of 15 soldi. Cert. Matl (1976) Ferchenbauer = EUR 1'800.
