    25 bani indigo & red, horizontal pair (Transfer Types 3-4), used on cover to Naples tied by BRAILA / DIM datestamp (18/12) struck in black (Kiriac fig. 439) with framed 'PD' below. Routed to avoid France due to the Franco-Prussian War, and struck on reverse with 'Pest' datestamp (26/12), 'Udine-Verona' TPO (Dec 29) with Naples arrival alongside. Left hand stamp with contemporary scissor cut at base and file fold away from adhesives, but of fine appearance and a very scarce franking.
