    1831 (Jan 1): Entire letter to Popayan, back flap missing but letter intact, with manuscript '1¼ oz.' notation at top and manuscript '7' (reales) at top, struck with outstanding strike of framed truncated TORO handtstamp with straight line FRANCA below in brown. Superb and extremely rare, believed to be the sole example recorded of this handstamp.
