    Italian Post Office 1869: Entire letter franked by 1867 1 pi. red tied by scarce REGIE POSTE EGIZIANE / CAIRO datestamp (May 14) and corresponding REGIE POST EGIZIANE / ALESSANDRIA transit on reverse, mailed to Genoa, with Italy 1863 40 c. carmine tied by '234' lozenge in black. Small cartridge 'Piroscafi / Postali / Italiani' alongside and 'Brindisi / Vaglia' cds of entry (May 18) displaying well on reverse. A fine and scarce combination cover with two further Egypt 1867 1 pi. red on separate pieces showing REGIE datestamp and REGIE removed example.
