    Pachuca 1 r. yellow and ½ r. blue, each with superb large margins all round, the ½ r. without the District name, tied to March 12, 1857 cover from Mineral del Chico to Mexico City cancelled by framed ML. DEL / CHICO handstamp (Schatzkes fig. 1129) in red. File fold between the stamps but a rare rate, the Postmaster should have charged 4 reales (Second Tariff) but this cover appears to have been accepted at the first tariff rate of 1½ reales for a ¾ ounce letter up to 30 leagues (approx 100 miles).
