    Guanajuato 1 r. yellow, vertically bisected example used on cover front from Irapuato to Guanajuato, cancelled by framed YRAPUATO handstamp (Schatzkes fig. 494) in black. The stamp with horizontal scissor cut in margin only at base. Whilst the adhesive is not tied at left, the piece is of excellent provenance and is mentioned by Josling (signed Lea at top). A great rarity of Mexican philately. Cert. Jaretzky (1986), Mepsi (1988) Scott = $ 10'000.
