    Lombardo-Veneto 1854: 15 c. red, machine paper, type III, bright colour and large margins all round, tied by "MILANO 16 / 6" cds to printed matter to Lyon, with "P.D." and French entry cds "AUTRICHE 19 JUIN 58 CULOZ" in red alongside. From January 1, 1858 the printed matter rate to France was reduced to 15 c., therefore this cover was not taxed. The accompanying printed matter, sent in August 1857 was treated as a totally unfranked letter and was therefore taxed with "10" décimes.
