    1865: 10 c. violet and 20 c. blue in a horizontal pair used on June 1865 registered cover to Socorro, the adhesives tied by italic 'Certificacion á Bogota / Salio en 17 de Junio 1865' with date inserted in manuscript; repeated strike at lower left and docket number 'No. 97' at upper left. The edges handstamped with '0' markings (8) also in red to denote the registration. Reverse with two strikes of circular Colombia Postmaster's seal in red. Slight repair to cover just to left of the 10 c. where wrapper has been strengthened of no great import, a remarkable and exotic franking. Cert. Moorhouse (2014).
