    Newfoundland 1857: 4 d. scarlet-vermilion, a fresh and attractive mint example, large margins all round and of excellent vibrant colour, one or two tiny marks on face and ironed crease, unused and regummed. Despite the minor faults, none of which impair the visual appearance, an exceptional example of an extremely rare stamp. Certs. RPS (1976), Matl (2005), BPA (2014) Scott 4 = $ 11'500/Gi. = £ 13'000.
