    1878: Sage 10 c. black, tied by PARIS QUAI-DES-ORFEVRES 15 FEVR 78 cds to precursor postcard with triangular "T"  mark alongside, sent to Lausanne Switzerland with arrival cds on reverse (Feb 16, 1878). In spite of the taxation mark the adressee did not pay the tax. Less than five taxed precursor cards abroad are known which were replaced in 1878 by stationery postcards.
