    Boule de Moulins 1870 (Dec 31): Entire letter from Gennes to beseiged Paris, endorsed 'par Moulins Allier' at lower left, the adhesives having floated off in the Boule (charge was 1 franc); with despatch cds of Gennes (Aug 1, 1871) and reverse with 'Paris / 60' datestamp for August 26, 1871 when the Boule was eventually located. Rare and particularly fine entire that opens well for Exhibit display. Cert. Roumet (2013).
