    1868: 2 bani orange-yellow in a fine horizontal pair with ample to large margins all round (types 5-6), used in combination with 1870 3 b. violet in a very fine large margined horizontal pair (types 2-3) on 1872 cover to Giurgiu, tied by bold strikes of GALATI datestamps (Aug 24) in black (Kiriac fig. 500). Black framed 'PD' at top and reverse with Bucharest transit (Aug 25) and Giurgiu arrival (Aug 26). A charming cover and a very rare combination usage. Cert. Heimbüchler (2013).
