1'000 r. grey in a horizontal pair used with 1876/77 500 r. orange (2) on 1888 Boris Frères cover to Paris by British Packet, the adhesives cancelled on despatch at Fortaleza (Feb 11) and again in transit at Pernambuco (Feb 13). Reverse with further Pernambuco transit cds and Paris arrival cds (Feb 29, leap year).
