1 / 230 reis black, Early Impression in a deep shade on yellowish paper, Napier's Third Composite plate, middle pane, positions 1-2, used horizontal pair showing top and left vertical marginal lines, cancelled by bold "Correio Geral Da Corte" datestamp (February 5, 1845) in black. Left stamp with minor corner bend, plated by Newbury with his manuscript writing on the reverse. A delightful and very scarce pair.
