"50 centavos blue" error of transfer for 5 c., the finest of the five known used examples, from position 38 on the second setting sheet which was punched from the sheet when the error of transfer was noticed by the Post Office. Just touched at base and with minor airhole caused by the red cancellation ink used on the application of the "Buenaventura / Franca" handstamp, otherwise a fantastic example of this rarity, the cancellation leaving the "50" error at top particularly clear.
