    1869: 15 bani red, no Beard, a fine used vertical pair (Type 3/3) used in combination with 1871 10 b. yellow, with Beard (Type 6) on registered cover to Bucharest cancelled by scarce GAESTI datestamps (Nov 22) well struck in blue-green ink (Kiriac fig. 393) with framed RECOMANDAT alongside. The lower stamp in the pair with slight wrinkle in the left margin of no importance, the reverse with some repairs to the letter sheet but a significant and rare combination franking and most attractive.
