    1854 (Aug 17): Re-used front of cover (the reverse shows re-use from Kronstadt to Stettin), struck with superb strike of FELDPOST No. 4 (Tchilinghirian fig. 729) datestamp in black based at Alt-Orsova, Hungary. Re-addressed from the 18th Regiment of the line at St. Miklos to Kronstadt and charged 9 kreuzer Military rate in crayon even though marked as Official. Most unusual and appealing item.
    Note: During the Crimean campaign Field Post Office No. 4 moved to various sites including Braila, Jassy and Bistritsa.
