    Rustchuk / Bulgaria 1878: 10 kr. green, rare type II tied by "RUSTZUK 25/VI" cds (Tchilinghirian fig. 916) in blue to outer letter sheet, sent directly after the end of the Russo-Turkish war to Galaz with Romanian arrival mark (Jul 26, 1878) on reverse. The DDSG PO in Rustchuk had to be closed during the fighting between Russian and Turkish troops and was finally closed in 1880. The DDSG PO in Galaz had already been closed in 1875 and the letter was therefore taxed with 30 bani by the Romanian post. Signed Raybaudi, cert.
