    1843 (July 27): Entire letter from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro using the pre-phialtelic rate, endorsed "50" reis at top in manuscript, struck with circular despatch CORREIO GERAL DE S. PAULO in blue (July 30). Full docketing of receipt inside (Aug 4), just four days after the introduction of the Bull's Eye adhesives. Rare and most unusual entire. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
