    60 reis grey-black, late Intermediate Impressions, single and horizontal pair on 1845 entire letter endorsed "p. Vapor" and carried by sea at double rate from Rio de Janeiro to Rio Grande (Pedrick correspondence), the adhesives all with four margins and the pair slightly overlapping the single which has a closed tear at lower right and thee cover with some minor soiling of no importance, tied by rimless CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE datestamps (March 1) in black. The letter has been affected by damp but exhibits well and is of great rarity, just two other covers from Rio being recorded with this franking by Juchert. Cert. Moorhouse (2013).
