60 reis black, early Intermediate Impression, a fine four margined example used on 1844 entire letter mailed from Itabira to Rio de Janeiro, Teixeira correspondence, and tied by straight line handstamp JTAPIRA in brown (Ayres 1144). Manuscript date at left (January 24) in 'postmark' format. Light file fold well away from the adhesive, a fine and extremely rare entire. This is the only recorded Bulls Eye cover from Itabira.
