    1859 (Oct 31): Entire letter from Alexandria to Aalborg, Denmark struck with two line COL VAPORE / ALESSANDRIA in black at top, the unpaid charge to Triest being 3¼ sgr and credit to GAPU being a further 3 sgr., therefore framed "6¼" in blue was applied at Trieste (Van Der Linden fig. 3092) for total amount in silvergroschen, equivalent to 27 Danish skilling + 9 sk. for Danish share on arrival = 36 sk. Reverse with Triest cds (Nov 10), two German TPO's and Danish P.O. in Hamburg cds (Nov 17). An unusual destination at this date.
