    1870c.: Cover to Syra, Greece sent stampless with superb strike of Rural Post OLTENITA / DIST. ILFOVU datestamp (4/9) in blue-black (Kiriac fig. 885), mailed through Bucharest with "Bucuresti / Dim" cds on reverse (5/9), Triest (10/9) and thence to Syros. Front panel with manuscript '90' lepta due in blue crayon and franked by Large Hermes 1867/69 10 lepta orange on greenish and 80 lepta carmine on cream paper, both stamps with four margins, neatly tied by "Syros" cds (3 Sept, Julian calendar) on arrival. A delightful and rare cover. Certificate Heimbüchler (2012).
