4 reales brown-red, a superb example in the 'venetian' shade, used on refolded 1869 cover to Latacunga (weight notation "11 oz." in manuscript), used in combination with fine examples of ½ real blue (position 53 with break above "C" of "Correos"), and single 1 real yellow neatly tied by two fine strikes of the "Quito / Franca" datestamp (Aug 18).
