60 reis black, Early Impression, a fine four margined used example, margins close to large all round, used on reverse of 1845 cover from Bragansa, Sao Paulo to Santos tied by bold strike of framed BRAGANSA handstamp in red-brown (Ayres 1244) with manuscript date June 2, 1845 alongside. Insignificant minor ageing but a generally superb and extremely rare cover that opens well for Exhibit display. The sole recorded use of this handstamp on a Bulls Eye cover. Signed Calves.
