    30 reis black, Early Impression on greyish paper, a fine margined pair (Large plate, State A, positions 7-8) applied to reverse of 1845 entire letter to Victoria, each stamp cancelled by rare straight line "S: MATHEUZ" handstamp (Ayres 1175) in blackish brown, the obverse of the cover clearly dated "9-10-1845" in manuscript. Some internal repairs to entire to prevent splitting but a fine and rare Number One entire. Only two covers are recorded with the "S: Matheuz" cancellation, the other being from the same correspondence presently in the Alemany collection.
