    30 reis black, Early Impression from First Composite plate, a fine used vertical pair in a deep shade not consistent with the Napier plating, showing marginal and dividing line horizontally at base and part of adjoining stamp at upper right, cancelled by "Correio Geral Da Corte" rimless datestamp (February 28, 1844) in black. Tiny scissor cut in margin only and ironed corner crease at upper right, but of excellent appearance and a scarce multiple.
