    1870: Bordeaux 30 c. deep brown and Siège 10 c. bistre used on underpaid 1871 entire letter via London (Sept 27) to New Orleans, USA; tied by Roubaix gros chiffres. Underpaid for this routing with framed "Affranchisement / Insuffisant" in red and rare usage on a stamped cover of framed "*FR*/2F" Accountancy handstamp (Van Der Linden fig. 1262) struck in black. On arrival "New York / U.S. Notes / 18" applied in black (Oct 12). Some scuffs and ageing but a rare entire. Signed Goebel. Cert. Calves (1981).
