    1870/71: 7 c. vermilion with grill (rare) used with 3 c. green and 10 c. brown (without grill) on 1872 cover to France, all tied by New York Foreign Mail cork cancels and by London cds (Feb 1) in red. Red "2" cents credit marking at right and "New York Paid All / Br. Transit" in red on reverse of a somewhat aged and bleached but very scarce three colour franking. Cert. PF (1985).
