    1865: 40 pa. black on rose, a vertical pair used on 1867 registered cover from Kadiköy (Asian side of the Bosphorus) to Galata tied by faint dotted lozenge in black and over-struck again with both morning datestamp of 'Galata' and 'Bachtche Capussi' (Feb 20) in black. Obverse with Kadikoy despatch (all same day) and bilingual CHARGÉE handstamp in black. Some ageing but a rare registered franking.
