    1 gr. green greyish-olive, 1st plate and 2nd state, position 8, together with 2 gr. light-blue, 3rd plate, position 11, tied by framed handstamp to outer letter sheet from Salemi (oval ornated handstamp in red) to Palermo (Aug 16, 1859) with dispatch and arrival mark alongside. The 2 gr. stamp is touched but the rare 1 gr. stamp has exceptionally large margins on all sides, the letter is fresh and in excellent condition. Certificate Giulio Bolaffi (1975) Sassone = EUR 33'625.
    1 gr. verde oliva grigiastro, I tavola, II stato, pos. 8, con 2 gr. azzurro vivo, III tavola, pos. 11, su lettera da Salemi, 16.8.1859, a Palermo. Il 2 gr. è sfiorato in alto ma il raro 1 gr. ha margini eccezionalmente ampi da tutti i lati e la lettera è fresca ed in ottimo stato di conservazione. Certificato Giulio Bolaffi (1975) Sassone = EUR 33'625.
