    Confederate States 1861: 5 c. green, Stone 1, a vertical pair, marginal from base of sheet showing large part og "(H)OYER & LUDWIG" imprint, margins good to large with portion of adjoining stamp at right and at top, used on slightly soiled 1861 embossed Ladies's envelope to Greenboro, Alabama tied by "TUDOR HALL / VA" cds (Nov 11) in black. Small contemporary closed tear and surface scuff on top stamp of the pair but a remarkable and scarce usage Scott = $ 600+..
