    1852: 1 sgr. deep red-brown, a horizontal strip of three with enormous margins if slightly close at right but showing portion of adjoining stamp at left, used on 1857 cover to Frankfurt on Main tied by circular barred obliterator with "Luxembourg" cds below of despatch (June 3) and framed "PD" at upper right in black. Reverse with Trier transit cds (June 4) and arrival in black. Addressee's name written over but a scarce franking.
