    1938, 50 c. purple and black, 1 s. black and brown, and 5 s. black and carmine, used on an air mail cover, from Nairobi to New York, dated 1 November 1941, endosred "Clipper Pacific", with violet handstamp "TO BE FORWARDED BY / AIR FROM SINGAPORE", opened by Censor label in Kenya, with Singapore triangular censor handstamp, carried on BOAC "Cleopatra" flight 'NE135' arriving in Cairo 4 November 1941, departing for Singapore 5 November on "Clifton" arriving 11 November, then on 15 November the "American Clipper" left for San Francisco arriving 27 November, transfer to New York the following day, an attractive cover, 6 s. 50 c. rate for ½oz, scarce mail route.
