    Chalons 1866: Lithographed 4 d. grey-lilac, 6 d. yellow-green and 1 s. brownish-grey used on 1872 mourning envelope from Brisbane to Springfield, Mass., USA endorsed "via Brindisi", tied by "QL" obliterators with Brisbane despatch cds (Feb 24) alongside. 'London / Paid' transit cds (April 15) in red and New York transit (April 26) where "4 Cents" credit handstamp was applied in red. Illustrated and listed in the Ben Palmer Queensland census on page 278.
