    1828 (March 5): Entire letter written between February 16 and March 5, mailed from Sydney to the Weslayan Missionary Society, London struck with circular "SYDNEY / N.S.W / M 5 / 1828" datestamp applied on the First Day of Use. Reverse with step type "SHIP LETTER / FOLKESTONE" handstamp in black (Robertson unlisted) over-struck by London arrival (July 24) in red and charged '1/2d.' due in manuscript (8d. Ship + 6d. inland). Long and interesting entire concerning shipments on board the 'Elizabeth', Mission accounts and the appointment of a Mission to Tonga.
