    Tampico 1864/66: Eagle First period 2 r. orange, used on 25 June 1864 entire letter to Mexico City via Vera Cruz, tied by oval framed "CORREOS / FRANCO / TAMPICO" handstamp in black (Schatzkes fig. 1580). Passed to British P.O. with manuscript "1/-" prepaid and struck with circular "TAMPICO / PAID" cds in red (June 27). Sender's cachet at left, an outstanding entire showing the dual Post Office system for Coastal mail in exceptional quality.
