    1827/80c.: Pre-stamp and stampless cover selection (7) with circa 1827 cover to Ambato struck with fine framed "RIOBAMBA" in red (Harris 7), 1853 document with "GUARANDA / FRANCA" handstamp in red (Harris 5), 1858 cover to Quito with superb "GUANO / DE / OFICIO" in red (Harris 1); 1867 entire to Guayaquil and 1875 Official cover from Imbabura to Quito each with framed "DE OFICIO" in black (see Harris page 32) and 1880c. Cover to Quito with oval "TULCAN / DE OFICIO" in black (Harris 3). Generally very fine, a scarce group. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
