    1948/1951: Collection of Waterlow engraved Proofs, with gum, comprising six different values and designs, including the 'Death of Maceo' 1 peso, the Miguel Teurbe Tolón 1 c., the Narciso Lopez 2 c., López landing at Cardenas Airmail 5 c., the 'Raising the Flag' Airmail 8 c., the Government House, Special Delivery 10 c., all come in an Imperforate Proof block, three of ten and three of twenty, with security punch-holes with sheet margin at base and manuscript approval notations in red or black ink, they additionally have a matching block of ten/twenty of the second part of the print, i.e. the frame, vignette of portrait or flag or background, some minor bends as these were working Proofs, superb and rare selection Gi = €2'777. rn
