    1886 (April): New Dies. 2 c. purple on lilac, perf. 13½, a single example on 1886 local entire letter to Jacmel endorsed "p. poste", tied by "Port au Prince / Haiti" circular datestamp (July 17). Slight spike hole in address but an extremely rare internal usage and a fine cover  - the earliest use of the New Die 2 c. on cover.
