    Official 1879: "Direction Generale Des Douanes Egyptiennes" printed envelope sent free of charges from the Customs to the Offices of the Dette Publique in Cairo, struck with "Poste Egiziane / Alessandria" cds (May 17) in black. Reverse with Cairo cds (May 18) and three complete wax seals each reading "Direction Generale / Douanes Egyptiennes" in red. Scarce and fine cover. Signed Todd AIEP.
