Arms of the Protectorate 1896: 2 d. black & green, 4 d. black & orange-brown, 2 s. 6 d. black & magenta and £ 1 black & blue all used on 4 d. registration envelope (224 x 112 mm, H&G C7a) to Devonport, all tied by CHINDE / BCA circular datestamps (April 26, 1897) in black. Reverse with "Registered / Devonport" arrival (May 29).
